“Deceptacon”
Le Tigre initially fashioned in 1998. They launched their self-titled debut album in October 1999. Spin Journal referred to as it top-of-the-line albums of the previous 30 years, and Pitchfork referred to as it top-of-the-line albums of the 90s. I listened to that album loads when it got here out, and 25 years later, I nonetheless hear songs from it all over the place, on TV and in motion pictures, and simply out on this planet – particularly the track “Deceptacon.” For this episode, I talked to Kathleen Hanna and Johanna Fateman from Le Tigre about how they wrote it, and the way they put the observe collectively.
